God is good πŸ™ŒπŸ½

Our vision statement for our revolution is "to walk in faith, be known for his love and be a voice of encouragement to all" Its been such a privilege to see the way our team has taken hold of this, to be able to live it out and impact the lives of those who know them! God is so good to us!

Jesse's Story (QLD)

"Since the second semester of last year, I've had it on my heart to start a prayer group at my school. But I kept on putting it off. So at the beginning of this year, I thought I need to do something.

I got another 6 of Christain mates together and planned out what we were going to do. So we decided to have an acoustic set, with a 5-10min preach and prayer. Our first week we had 12 people, the second week we had 16 and by our third week, we had 15 people regularly attending the Prayer group.

We decided to name it United because we wanted our school to be united for God as a whole and not just as a few cliques. Our goal for the end of the year is to have at least 100 people regularly attending."

JOSEPH'S STORY

"When I was in year 9, God gave me a vision for my school. God told me that I would impact my school for Jesus. I had no choice but to accept the calling. I went to the school chaplain and spoke to him, and he suggested that I should grab some mates who are also believing for a move of God in our school. We wanted students to engage, feel no condemnation and be drenched in the love of Jesus.

God placed it my heart that I should call the school ministry 'Dare to be a Daniel' because students that face trials and tribulations will stand up for the truth and carry the light of Jesus. My fear was standing up in assembly and announcing my new school ministry, but God helped me through my fear by a verse in 1 Timothy 4:12 which states "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity''.

Dare to be a Daniel was launched 30th of August 2015. We had a few members, but I kept believing that God would enlarge our group and heaps of students would be saved. God's promise to enlarge my school ministry came to pass, and we have seen so many students give their life to Jesus by just coming to Dare to be a Daniel. My team and I are happy to see darkness fail and the light of Jesus spread in my school. For two years of running this ministry, I am proud to say that miracles still work today and that God is still moving.

I have faith for what God has in store for Dare to be a Daniel. My Name is Joseph and I have started a School Revolution.

ZAHRNA'S STORY

"At the start of the year, my friend and I started up "The Thursday Thing" for girls in year 7-12. Our aim was to create an environment that was different to school, somewhere to belong, build real relationships, and come together in force and build each other up. We share a devotion, have real conversations, eat food and have fun. We wanted the girls to have an opportunity to come to know God's love in a real and personal way; and leave feeling loved and encouraged. This is our SCHOOLS REVOLUTION!"

Meet Jesse

This revolution outgrew classrooms until it was held in the main auditorium of his school at lunch times, but the revolution didn't stop there. Other young christians from public and private schools alike started to launch their own school revolutions at lunch time in their schools. In the space of 6 months, 6 revolutions started in 6 different schools.
